How is London doing?

So, how do we know whether we are becoming more sustainable as a world city?

Forum for the future has published The Sustainable Cities Index that ranks 20 British Cities in terms of their environmental impact, quality of life and how prepared they are to deal with future changes. In November 2008 Bristol was at the top of the index with London in ninth position having up moved up one place since 2007.

To understand how well London and the rest of the UK are doing, various agencies are measuring progress.
